Help With Using "Find" to Search
|
To search your PDF document for a word or phrase:
Figure 1

- Click on the Find icon (Figure 1) in the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar.
(The Find icon looks like a pair of binoculars). Or, click on the Edit
menu item and select Find.
Figure 2

- The Find dialog box (Figure 2) will open. Type the word or phrase
you are searching for in the Find What text entry box.
Note: You can choose to search for the Whole Word Only by clicking
on the box next to that phrase until a check appears. Whole Word Only
will only return the words that exactly match that spelling of the word. If
you check the box next to Match Case, Acrobat Reader will perform a
case-sensitive search. If you check the box next to Find Backwards,
Acrobat Reader will start the search at the end of the current page and search
backwards to the beginning of the document.
- Click on the Find button. Adobe Acrobat Reader will highlight the first
instance of the word or phrase that it finds.
